Gross sale = Shrink-adjusted weight × auction price. Shrink reduces the weight sold (transit weight loss, typically 1–3%).
Commission = % of gross sale proceeds.
Yardage, brand inspection, vet = flat per-head charges.
Trucking = your out-of-pocket haul cost split across the lot.
Net check = Gross − Commission − Yardage − Brand − Vet − Trucking − Other.
DTC estimate is the same gross without any auction-side deductions — a ceiling estimate. Actual DTC net will be reduced by processing, packaging, and fulfillment costs.
